Nel nuovo progetto Residui8, Ninni e Lanfranco si concentrano su una delle stanze trovate all’interno di uno degli edifici di uno stabilimento abbandonato. A colpire i due artisti e a indirizzarli nella scelta di quel luogo specifico è stata la presenza di muschi e piante che, nel tempo, hanno creato un tappeto naturale sul pavimento. Una stanza unica, un erbario che si erge vittorioso e spunta dal cemento. Il pavimento erboso rimane solo all’interno di un gigantesco cumulo di macerie. Luogo dimenticato dall’uomo ma che respira le forze ancestrali della natura che si fa suono, colore e prende vita attraverso muschi, erba, piante, muffe, batteri. Quel pavimento è in parte emerso similmente alla coscienza, anzi rappresenta simbolicamente la metapsicologia freudiana. Ancorato inevitabilmente all’inconscio (con le radici sotto al pavimento) si affaccia con il suo Io rigoglioso, fisso e immobile ad attrarre lo sguardo dell’esploratore (Artista) che assiste allibito allo spettacolo.

In the new Residui8 project, Ninni and Lanfranco focus on one of the rooms found inside one of the buildings of an abandoned factory. It was the presence of mosses and plants that, over time, have created a natural carpet on the floor, to strike the two artists and guide them in the choice of that specific place. A unique room, a herbarium that stands victorious and emerges from the concrete. The grassy floor remains only within a gigantic pile of rubble. A place forgotten by man but that breathes the ancestral forces of nature that become sound and colour, and comes to life through mosses, grass, plants, moulds, and bacteria. That floor has partly emerged likewise consciousness, in fact, it symbolically represents Freudian metapsychology. Inevitably anchored to the unconscious (with its roots under the floor), it overlooks its lush, fixed and immobile Ego, attracting the eyes of the explorer (Artist) who attends the show in amazement.
